LIGHTING
For my independent study, I had to do different lighting situations. I never realized how often I would need to be aware of the lighting situations. Being a photojournalist, the main concern hsa been to get the photo for the story. Most of the time its really hard to get technical with the photo b/c it's live action. You can just set up the shot and then scream action like a movie set, you've gotta capture the event then and now. Photographing weddings makes you constantly think about lighting. At the receptions it's usually really dark and you're constantly adjusting the flash to fit the f-stop and shutter speed. One good thing I've discovered is Adobe Lightroom. With this you can adjust lighting situations in post-production to fit your needs, LIFE SAVER!
